El Poblano Mexican Restaurant: A Taste of Mexico in Newberry, SC

Excellent food and impeccable service! I’ve been coming here since 2019 and continue to be impressed. Great menu options and everything I have tried so far is just great. Have been here several times with groups as large as 12 with no issues. Highly recommend!

Easy access to I26! Busy Friday night and service was amazing. When we arrived we immediately were seated, and chips and drinks were at our table before we even had a chance to look at the menu. The menu was extensive and had something for everyone. The waiter was friendly and very attentive. The food was unbelievably good! We got a vegetarian burrito and chicken fajita nachos. We could have shared one plate the portion size was so large! And the prices were very reasonable! Definitely a place we will return to!

The service here is always great such a friendly staff. The food is very good and comes out quickly. The beer is always cold and the margaritas are just right!! They have inside and outside seating. They will help you with your Spanish also!

We stopped here on the spur of the moment and are so glad we did! Our server was fast and efficient and the food was great! I got the carnitas plate and the meat was so tender juicy. My husband got the steak fajitas and the portion was huge and they were delicious! The whole place was very clean as well. We'll definitely be back!

We had to come to Newberry for my wife's work so we stopped in here for dinner. The service was great. The food came out fast. My wife ordered Flautus and I had the combo #6. She loved both the beef and chicken flautus. For me however the ground beef had a unique flavor that I didn't care for. Couldn't figure out what it was but the wife agreed it was an earthy taste. They used that ground been in the taco and enchiladas I had. I tasted the beef in hers and it was much better. The rest of the food was good but nothing stood out. In total with tip the bill was around $30. We would definitely give them another try. See you tomorrow maybe?
